~ Movies ~

Hey everyone. Sorry for the time in between posts. I don't have a lot of interesting material to put up here, but I went to the movies today so I figured I'd give a heads up on the movie I saw. The movie was The Wicker Man and the main character in the movie was Edward Malus who was played by Nicolas Cage. Over all I thought it was a decent movie that had quite a few twists in it, and an unpredictable ending, which I wont tell too much about as to not give anything away for those of you who haven't seen it. In my opinion Nicolas Cage did a good job with his character, and although probably not his best movie ever, it was still good. The movie was about a man Edward Malus (Nicolas Cage) who gets a letter from from an old girlfriend who needs his help finding her daughter who disappeared on the private island of Summersisle, but as to not give too much of the story line away I guess that's all I'm going to say.
Another movie that I had seen, not recently, though I guess I will post about it anyway is Silent Hill. In my opinion it wasn't the greatest movie ever although I don't watch a lot of horror movies. It did have a lot of twists in it and made you wonder right up until the end, but even the ending kept me wondering and I never did fully understand it. But as far as horror movies go, in my opinion it wasn't really scary. Although the story behind the movie was relatively interesting the ending, and everything else was kind of disappointing in my opinion mainly because it really didn't tie up the lose ends that the movie had left. It just kind of left you hanging wondering what was going on. It is very possible that I missed something, but like I said I still don't understand the ending of the movie. Well sorry again for the time in between posts, and hopefully I will have more things to post but until I do, this will have to do.

My Week Away

Well I don't have much to post as you may have guessed, but every summer I usually go up to a camp on a lake that me and my family rent for about a week. Over all the trip was fun, and I was able to go out on the lake in a boat I row out which I always enjoy doing. On one of my trips I went on with my dad, when we had just finished rowing back in and pulling the boat up by the dock, my dad had lost his shoe in the mud so I had to get it out. After retrieving his shoe and walking out of the water I felt something wiggling between my toes. I look down to find I had scooped up a 3~4 Inch long leach in my sandal and it was wiggling in between my toes. After that comforting experience I mainly stuck to the other side of the dock, where you didn't sink inches into the mud when you walked. Another interesting event that happened was that I like to go and explore the far shore of the lake and see if I can find any trails or anything that would be interesting to explore. Well one day my grandfather, and my mom decided to come after me after awhile, and the lake was pretty rough because a storm had just moved in. Well they aren't exactly the best team while rowing a boat. In fact they were only good enough that when they rowed forward against the wind they ended up still gaining nothing and even moving back some, and managed to go in a few circles which was sort of fun to watch. But anyway after they started getting frustrated I ended up needing to take my mom's place in the two person boat and give her the single person, because obviously they weren't going to make it back the way they were going. After a good twenty minute row we finally did make it back though. Was an eventful trip, that was also quite amusing, but also very tiring. Hard to row none stop for that long against the wind. Well, other then that not too much out of the ordinary happened and it was a pretty fun outing, but anyway thought I'de share my few adventures I had been on. Also by the way, sorry for the many errors that are probably through out my post. Never have been good with editing what I write lol.

Getting Started

I really dont have much to post at the moment mainly do to I'm just getting started, and dont have too much to say. When this changes, I suppose I will have something else to post but until then, this will have to do. Thank you for coming. I think... Hmm.... Are you still here? -Gasp!-
